Description: Traveling Lantern has been educating and entertaining children nationwide for over 21 years. Our mission is to bring great stories to children, to draw them into an active theater experience, to excite their minds, and to tickle their imaginations. Audience interaction is a hallmark of our theatrical style. Traveling Lantern currently has a 20-show repertoire. Each fall and spring we send three different shows out on the road and perform them nationally. All shows use a team of two actors, who perform with many changes of character and costume. FALL shows: Jonny Appleseed, A Christmas Carol, The Life of Leonardo DaVinci. SPRING shows: Peter Pan, Sherlock Holmes Takes the Case. Visual Arts Description: The visual arts school assemblies are created with art forms such as ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, crafts, photography, video, filmmaking, and architecture. Many artistic disciplines that will help your students get more engaged and understand all aspects of the visual arts as well as arts of other types.
