Description: Tom Willis (presenter) is disabled � he was born without arms and hands. So he uses his legs and feet instead to do almost everything in his life. During this diversity/disability awareness assembly he: 1) talks openly with kids about his disability and how he�s learned to tackle the many obstacles and challenges he faces each and every day; 2) shows how he grew up as a �boy with no arms�; 3) demonstrates how he uses his feet in a creative and unique approach to problem solving; 4) invites kids on stage and challenges them to perform simple acts using their feet instead of their hands; and 5) interacts and role-plays to teach kids, �It�s okay to be different!� The ultimate goal of this assembly is to promote better understanding and acceptance of persons with disabilities. Requirements: Auditorium, gymnasium or other room suited for group presentation, screen for projection; one table, three chairs
